»Advanced Training in Marketing Research

Details:
The Association focuses on offering training opportunities for researchers in the industry. These come in the form of basic and advanced training. The 2012 Advanced Training (modular approach, targeting research proffesionals-SREs, RMs- with over 3 years experience) will commence June next year. To participate, please contact the Secretariat.

With the aim of ensuring the steady growth of our industry by promoting a learning culture, the Marketing & Social Research Association (MSRA) welcomes your participation in its 4th convention scheduled to take place on 29th and 30th of March 2012 in Nairobi. The 2012 conference theme will be “Research Simplified: Elevating the Impact of Market and Social Research in Africa” We are now calling for presentation submissions for this 2012 conference with the synopsis submission deadline being December 8th 2011. This event is intended to contribute towards raising funds for charity as well as reward the Individual Membership Category (where members interact and unwind). »Celebrity Talks

Theme: Media and Marketing Communications in Africa: where we're heading and why research matters even more

Details:
The Association focuses on offering members and practitioners in the industry opportunities to network and learn from one another through events such as Celebrity Talks. These Talks are meant to reward the individual membership category where participants interact with invited speakers (who are usually knowledgeable clients/practitioners in the industry). Talks are held bi-monthly and member agencies are responsible for sourcing for speakers. The next Talk will be held on 26th October, 6.30pm, at the Southern Sun Hotel in Westlands and our Celebrity Speaker will be Tim Smyth, CEO, Ogilvy Africa.
